According to the minister, the strong pass percentage and broader performance gains supported the decision to restrict the cycle to two examinations.Students who have not qualified in Exam-1 will continue to have the opportunity to appear in Exam-2 under the existing supplementary framework. The board has already indicated that detailed schedules and application instructions for the next examination will be issued separately.Decision follows stronger statewide performanceThe announcement came against the backdrop of substantial gains in statewide results. The pass percentage among regular fresh students rose by more than 14 percentage points compared with the previous year.
