RE Shotgun 650 x Rough Crafts launched: Pricing, changes explained

Royal Enfield has debuted the limited-edition Shotgun 650 x Rough Crafts in India at an ex-showroom price of Rs 5.75 lakh. Developed in collaboration with custom motorcycle builder Rough Crafts, the special edition is based on the custom-built ‘Caliber Royale’ showcased at EICMA 2025 and later displayed at Motoverse 2025.The motorcycle will be produced in a strictly limited run of 100 individually numbered units for global markets, including India, Europe, North America and the Asia-Pacific region. Of these, only 25 motorcycles have been allocated for India.Registrations for the limited-edition model have opened globally from July 15, 2026. Buyers can register through the Royal Enfield App or the brand’s official website before July 30. The sale will take place through a phased online drop between July 27 and July 30, with India’s allocation going live on July 30 at 7 PM IST. The first 25 registered customers in each region will get the opportunity to purchase the motorcycle.

RE Shotgun 650 x Rough Crafts: What’s new

The special edition receives several cosmetic upgrades over the standard Shotgun 650. It gets a Gloss Jet Black and Matt Stealth Black paint scheme with hand-finished Gold Leaf striping and subtle grey accents. A limited-edition serial number is displayed on the fuel tank, while there’s also a cast brass collaboration badge highlighting the partnership with Rough Crafts.The motorcycle also features black bar-end mirrors, quilted leather seats, contrast-cut alloy wheels and gold-finished front fork inner tubes. Owners will also receive a numbered gold-on-black artwork featuring the Caliber Royale design, signed by Winston Yeh, founder of Rough Crafts.Mechanically, the limited-edition model remains unchanged. It continues to be powered by the familiar 648cc parallel-twin engine and retains the same underpinnings as the standard Shotgun 650.
