PSSSB Clerk Recruitment 2026: The Subordinate Services Selection Board, Punjab (PSSSB), has revised the examination schedule for recruitment linked to Advertisement No. 08 of 2025 and Advertisement No. 02 of 2026. The board issued the public notice from its office at Van Bhawan, Sector-68, S.A.S. Nagar, confirming changes to previously announced written examination dates.According to the notice issued by the board, the written examination dates for posts in different departments, including Clerk positions, have been rescheduled. Candidates who applied for the vacancies have been informed that examination-related updates, including admit cards and instructions, will be published only on the official website of the board.Revised written examination schedule announcedThe board stated that the written examination earlier scheduled under Advertisement No. 08 of 2025 for various posts in Group D across different departments has been postponed. The test, which was earlier fixed for March 01, 2026, will now be conducted on April 05, 2026.Similarly, the written examination for Clerk posts advertised under Advertisement No. 02 of 2026 in Group C has also been rescheduled. The test was earlier scheduled for April 05, 2026. As per the revised schedule released by the board, the examination will now take place on April 19, 2026.The board clarified that candidates who submitted applications for these vacancies should continue to monitor the official website for updates. All information related to admit cards, examination instructions and other notices will be uploaded there from time to time.

Recruitment notification and application windowThe recruitment notification for Clerk posts was issued earlier this year. The PSSSB released the notification for Clerk Recruitment 2026 on February 13, 2026. The online application process for the recruitment began on the same day. The applicants were provided with the opportunity to submit their applications through the official website until the 06th of March, 2026. The recruitment process is for the Clerk positions in various departments of the state government. Eligibility, Fees, and Selection StagesFor the position of Clerk, the applicants need to have a graduate degree and typing skills. The applicants also need to have passed their Class 10 examination with Punjabi as a compulsory subject. The age limit prescribed for the recruitment is between 18 and 37 years. The 01st of January, 2026, is the crucial date for determining the age of the applicants.The application fee structure included Rs. 1000 for General, Freedom Fighter and Sports Quota candidates, Rs. 250 for SC, ST and EWS applicants, and Rs. 200 for ex-servicemen and their dependents. Payment was accepted through online mode.The recruitment process will involve a written examination, followed by a typing test, document verification and a medical examination for shortlisted candidates. Candidates have also been advised to download their admit cards from the official website once released.
