Maharashtra Proposes Changes to Voter Registration Process for Excluded Individuals
Maharashtra is advocating for changes to Form 6, used for voter registration, to help those excluded from electoral rolls during the Special Inclusion Review (SIR) reapply. This initiative follows a directive from the Election Commission of India aimed at facilitating the inclusion of disenfranchised voters, thereby promoting democratic participation and engagement ahead of upcoming elections.
