Mandatory Aadhaar Biometric Authentication for Subsidised LPG Refills Starting October
Starting from October, the Indian government will require all domestic LPG consumers to complete biometric Aadhaar authentication to receive subsidised refills. As of September 19, nearly 90% of consumers have complied with this mandate. The initiative aims to streamline subsidy distribution and prevent fraud. Consumers are encouraged to complete the authentication process promptly to avoid service disruptions.
