The Yamaha XSR900 continues to enjoy popularity in international markets, prompting the manufacturer to enhance its appeal with a fresh color choice for the upcoming 2027 model. This new hue is said to pay homage to the renowned YZF750R supersport from the mid-1990s, reflecting Yamaha’s commitment to blending nostalgia with modern design.
Aside from the updated color scheme, Yamaha has maintained the mechanical and aesthetic elements of the XSR900 unchanged. This model is equipped with an 890cc triple-cylinder engine that delivers 119 horsepower and 93 Nm of torque, ensuring a robust performance that enthusiasts have come to appreciate.
Details of the New Color and Retained Features
In this latest iteration, Yamaha has introduced the Neon White color, replacing the previous Heritage White, while the Midnight Black option remains available. The overall design continues to embrace the retro-naked style that has defined the XSR series, sharing its platform and engine with the YZF-R9, which is Yamaha’s mid-range supersport bike.
The XSR900 is packed with modern features, including a 5-inch TFT display, multiple ride modes, a quickshifter, and fully adjustable KYB suspension. Additionally, it boasts a lightweight aluminum deltabox frame and all-LED lighting, showcasing a blend of classic aesthetics with contemporary technology.
