A fire that broke out at a Starlink satellite station in central Poland is being investigated as a deliberate act of sabotage, according to a statement by a government official. Deputy Prime Minister Krzysztof Gawkowski asserted that the incident in the Masovian Voivodeship province was meant to incapacitate the station, thereby disrupting internet services crucial for various institutions, including the Ukrainian military.
Gawkowski conveyed these concerns during an interview with Polish broadcaster TVP Info, noting that the attack could be part of a broader Russian strategy. Although the Kremlin has not issued any comments, the investigation is ongoing.
Heightened Concerns in Denmark and Across Europe
Simultaneously, Denmark’s intelligence agency has released a new assessment, suggesting an escalation in hybrid warfare tactics by Russia in the near future. While the likelihood of a direct military attack remains low, the agency warned of a growing risk of limited military actions against NATO members.
Several European NATO countries have raised alarms about potential Russian provocations aimed at testing their resolve in supporting Ukraine.
