In an unusual incident in Santa Fe, New Mexico, police officers took to their motorbikes to pursue a horse that had escaped just prior to the Desfile de la Gente parade on September 13.
The horse, which was unharmed during its escapade, was eventually cornered by the officers. In a dramatic turn of events, a cowboy equipped with a lasso managed to wrangle the animal.
Following its capture, the police ensured the horse was given water before leading it back to the parade’s starting point, as reported by the Santa Fe Police Department on their Facebook page.
