Adani Ports has announced a $750 million expansion of its Colombo West International Terminal, doubling its capacity to 3.2 million TEUs. This move aims to help the terminal handle 25% of the Port of Colombo’s target throughput of 13 million TEUs by 2028, enhancing the port’s role in international trade.
