Ethiopian Rebel Groups Unite Against Government
Seven Ethiopian rebel groups, including the Fano militia, the OLA, and the TPLF, have formed an alliance called the Alliance for Survival, aiming to overthrow Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed’s government. This coalition, covering half of Ethiopia’s regional states, accuses the government of severe mismanagement and conflict. The alliance emerges amid ongoing tensions in regions like Oromia, Amhara, and Tigray.
