The Tata Aeris has made its debut in India, showcasing a refreshed design that closely resembles its sibling, the Tiago. This compact sedan has undergone a facelift, integrating modern features and aesthetic updates that enhance its appeal.
Exterior Design Highlights
The exterior of the Tata Aeris is striking, featuring contemporary elements that include new LED headlights with distinctive eyebrow-shaped daytime running lights. The design is complemented by slim LED fog lamps, a sleek black grille, and a redesigned bumper that gives it a bold presence on the road.
From the side view, the Aeris boasts newly designed 15-inch alloy wheels, along with thin black cladding on the wheel arches and stylish chrome door handles. The rear end is equally impressive with LED taillights linked by a trim piece, alongside a reworked bumper that incorporates a parking light for added functionality.
Interior Features and Comfort
Inside, the Tata Aeris continues to impress with a modern dashboard that includes a semi-digital driver’s display and a sizable 10.25-inch infotainment system. The steering wheel features a two-spoke design, enhancing the vehicle’s modern aesthetic.
Comfort is prioritized in the Aeris, which includes automatic climate control with physical buttons for ease of use, as well as rear vents to ensure a comfortable ride for all passengers. The front seats are ventilated, while the entire cabin is adorned with leatherette upholstery, providing a touch of luxury.
With a boot capacity of 419 liters, the Aeris offers the most storage space in its class. The CNG variant cleverly incorporates two CNG tanks in the boot, allowing for practical use of the storage area even with the alternative fuel system in place.

The Tata Aeris is available with two engine options: a 1.2-liter petrol engine producing 86 horsepower and 113 Nm of torque, and a CNG variant that delivers 76 horsepower and 97 Nm of torque. Customers can choose between a manual or an automated manual transmission for both powertrain options.
Pricing for the Aeris ranges from Rs 5.29 lakh to Rs 9.74 lakh (ex-showroom), and it is offered in five different trims: Smart, Pure, Pure+, Creative, and Accomplished. Each variant comes with its own set of features and specifications, catering to a wide range of customer preferences.
