BKT and Pirelli Collaborate to Produce Passenger Car Tyres in India
Balkrishna Industries (BKT) and Pirelli have entered agreements to manufacture passenger car tyres in India, planning a 50/50 joint venture in the future. Initially, BKT aims to produce up to 800,000 tyres by 2030, with a focus on meeting Pirelli’s quality standards. The joint venture plans to establish a manufacturing plant for high-value tyres under both brands, targeting the expanding premium tyre market in India.
