The Board of Secondary Education, Odisha is set to declare the Class 10 examination results for 2026 today, May 2 2026, bringing an end to the wait for over 5.6 lakh students. The results will be announced at 4 pm. However, the the online link for accessing marksheets expected to go live from 6 pm. In previous years, the Odisha board had recorded relatively stable results, with pass percentages within a consistent range. In 2025, the overall pass percentage stood at 94.93 per cent. This was slightly lower than 2024, when the board recorded 96.07 per cent. In 2023, the pass percentage was 96.4 per cent, continuing the trend of strong results. The highest pass percentage recently was seen in 2021, when it reached 97.89 per cent. This was a peak compared to other years. However, the trend also shows a sharp dip in 2020, when the overall pass percentage was 78.76 per cent. With the 2026 result set to be announced, the past trend suggests that the overall pass percentage is likely to remain within a similar range.Students will be declared pass if they secure at least 33 per cent in aggregate and 30 per cent in each subject. Those who do not meet the criteria will be eligible for supplementary examinations, the details of which will be announced after the results. The Class 10 examinations this year were conducted between February 19 and March 2.
